Aircraft Carriers (Pull Ahead Books ― Mighty Movers)

My son is 6 and he loves this book. He is really into battleships right now, so he loves learning about the aircraft carriers and all the different parts of the ships. Very educational.

This tiny book is full of interesting and informative information about aircraft carriers. Grade school children would enjoy it. It's an easy read. The pictures are very nice. Even though the book is small, it does a great job of discussing to how an aircraft carrier works and how it is managed. Highly recommended as an introductory book.

Perfect simple book that my 5 year old grandson loved us talking about

This is a soft cover book that has 32 pages (actual numbering). The book's odd dimension is 7" in length, and just over 6" in width. The story content is 24 pages. Each page has one large picture, and 1 - 3 sentences explaining the picture. The order is logical and easy for young kids to understand. At the end of the book, one page is dedicated for aircraft carrier facts, one page visually identifies key area/component of the carrier, one for glossary, and one is index. Others pages are for credits. This book is useful when kids (age 4 - 7) are just getting into battle ships. Together with intro to play the Battleship game, a visit to an actually battleship (e.g., U.S.S. Midway in San Diego), and showing parts of movies that has aircraft carriers (e.g., Top Gun, Transformer 2), the kids will have long lasting knowledge and appreciation of this heart-of-the-fleets ship.

My six year old son is getting interested in military planes, ships, etc. This book is perfect for him to read and comprehend.

Very educational written in a language children can comprehend. Pictures were amazing and the real thing. Very well done, I thought. My grandson will enjoy it.

There should be more information about how age appropriate this book is. This book is suitable for a beginning reader. I bought this book for a special needs teenager who is interested in aircraft carriers, I can’t even give it to him as it is much too young.
