This is an amazing book about bugs.My grandsons just love trying to find all the different bugs on each page.But where are the lady bugs?

My four year old received 1001 Bugs Book for his birthday and loves it! If your kid is into bugs I recommend this book. It is an eye-spy type book and identifies each bug.We had an issue with our mailman cramming the book into the mailbox so it did come bent up. When I contacted the company about this I was blown away with how quickly they responded and how sympathetic they were. I was sent a brand new book and was able to keep the one that was ruined.Outstanding customer service

We have a 4 year old grandson. This engaging book has him looking for & identifying various bugs. Each page reenforces his new counting skills by finding the number of bugs identified.

My 7 year old Grandson loves all bugs and insects. This is one of his many reference books for his bug hunting that I have purchased for him. The book has detailed photographs of the most common bugs which aid in identification of insects and education about their habits.

As long as you don't expect a storybook with a narrative you won't be disappointed. Each double page of this book is incredibly detailed with flora and insect life. Along the sides of the pictures are a selection of the insects singled out and named with a large, clear number by their side indicating how many of the little creatures you're looking for in the picture. The scenes are often from far-flung places such as deserts or jungles, with some more local forest and meadow scenes.My three-and-a-half year-old son ADORES this book. Despite it not being a story he loves it at bedtime. He chooses which insect to search for and it really helps his visual scanning and concentration as he looks back and forth for each bug. Of course it also helps strengthen counting abilities, especially number conservation over delays and interruptions as he becomes distracted by some other interseting looking creature and asks about it.I love books which are sneakily educational! This works for both my son and I.

My son loved this book from school so decided to buy one for him this said good condition and it was in really good condition a few scuffs on the front cover a good clean and is good as new.The book teachers the names of lots of bugs and is fun to look for

I bought this book for my 5 year old son and he absolutely loves it. He doesn't get bored looking for, and finding, all the different bugs. Every page is a different scene. This book helps my son identify with the numbers, teaches him about what kind of bugs exist and in what environment they are found. This book has been such a success that I've also just bought him the 1001 Things to Spot in The Sea.
