After the breakin will the highs be tamed? Or am I stuck with the highs being so forward?

I feel like either it broke in after a playing about 6-10 albums, or I just got used to the high end.

Does this come pre alligned?

It comes mounted to the headshell, but you need to align it according to your specific tonearm geometry and overhang. Proper alignment is especially important with the Microline stylus shape because a small variance will definitely impact the sound of your records.

Will this work on a Concept 2qd turntable from the 70s? I’m a newbie and have no idea what’s needed

If it has an s-arm tonearm, yes. If it has a straight tone arm, it will work if you take the headshell and throw it away and use the rest
