I purchased this connector to create a port on my rv for a Starlink system. I watched a couple videos on YouTube and thought the idea and this connector a good idea. I wired up the system and checked the connection prior to drilling a hole in my rv. I found one of the connections of the terminal had a substantial amount of play when I inserted the RJ45 cable end. I could move the cable end within the connector and establish a connection with the antennae. I contacted the seller, and they immediately sent a new connector to me at no charge. Upon using the newly received connector the system worked as designed and I installed it on the rv. Customer service is why I gave the 5-star review and a product which serves my purpose.

Adaptability
Purpose of connector. Connect to the pole attached to the Motorhome at the back to connect Starlink. Based on You Tube recommendations. Very convenient, however, I am NOT recommending success the first time. Make sure you are able to connect to Starlink before cutting the cord to verify operation. It can get difficult to crimp connector to the wires because of density and you may need to crimp connector multiple times before success.

Used this on my RV. Solid quality made connector. If I would buy again .. I would buy the round version I think.

Missing parts
Came in missing the weather seals for the cable. No good without that. Returning

Works as advertised in dry conditions. Wet, not so much.
This connector worked as advertised in dry conditions for about three months operating a removable Starlink Antenna on our cabin. During a rain/snow event the connector leaked and smoked my connectors. Waiting for a new cable to see if there is any damage to my antenna. Connector leaks at the entry point of the cable at the plastic nut. Picture shows light leaking back through the connector from a flashlight and it also leaks around the perimeter. The outer metal jacket is also a leak point as seen by the light leaking between the jacket and plastic RJ45 holder. I would caution installing in a bumper with wet conditions possible on both sides of the plug. Clearly the bottom (other side with the rubber gasket) is not waterproof on the underside as the RJ45 connector is completely exposed.
