This contains roughly the same ingredients as Ridgecrest Clear Lungs which works for me and I have used for several years. But the RC product got a bit pricey, so I looked for an alternative. Initially I found that a Swanson product called Lung Essentials worked fairly well. When I came back to get more the price had escalated from $11 to $19! Since I have a distaste for price gougers, I returned to search mode. So here we are. 1st a little about me. I'm full retirement age, plus a couple years. I had a run in with a virus a few years back (that starts with a 'C'), which did a number on my lungs. I can get winded easily, and congestion can make it hard to catch my breath. So when some massive forest fires in Canada started sending heavy smoke my way recently and the Swanson product was at the bottom of the bottle, I knew it was time for action. So I decided to give this product "Healthy Lungs" a try. Twice the count (120) and half the dosage (1 each) of the Ridgecrest product, while containing the same ingredients, I was hopeful. The result? IT WORKS! Heavy smoke From those forest fires moved into my area overnight, and my Healthy Lungs product showed up this morning about the same time as I woke up. I started with 1ea and it helped break up the stiff but thin congestion I was experiencing. The phlegm would move during controlled coughing, but seemed to disappear rather than come up. I added a 2nd capsule after about an hour and was completely clear within another half hour! My evaluation: If your lung function can be improved through herbal ingredients- this could help. If your lungs are already reasonably clear, 1ea will likely help keep them clear. If you already have congestion, 2ea will likely be needed to help see improvement. My plan is to take this before bed to hep maintain a clear airway as I sleep. Hopefully this company will resist the urge to price gouge, and hold the price at $30, or better yet have some mercy and lower the price so more people can experience much needed relief! I started taking one capsule 2-3 times a day and did not feel any improvement, rather some kind of failure in the rhythm of breathing. I decided to try two capsules (as recommended) and took them before bed. I really started to suffocate like with asthma, but I don’t have asthma, I just had something like mild bronchitis and I wanted to help cough up extra mucus. I understand that all the ingredients are natural and I generally do not suffer from allergies, but something in this composition does not suit me. This is purely an individual intolerance and I believe that for most people this supplement helps, but sorry, not for me.

So, here’s what happened: Over two weeks ago I started wheezing sometimes. Don’t know why, but I have a history of bronchitis. Three times (over the years) I had to go to a doctor to get a prescription for powerful antibiotics to stop it because I was coughing so much and so hard it hurt a rib that I had an old injury in. I didn’t want that to happen again, so I got these. This time I didn’t have a bad cough, but the wheezing and raspy cough was getting worse off and on, and then I had pudding made with milk three nights in a row, because my roommate made so much. (It was the kind with banana slices on those Nilla Wafers. It was good.) Then, just yesterday afternoon I was in a VERY smoky casino for three hours. My roommate was in a drawing (10 people won every hour, and this time he didn’t win) but we had to stay from 3 to 6 pm for the hourly drawing, and we got dinner free. Then last night it was much worse. I could hardly sleep from all the wheezing, and felt the congestion deep in my lungs. So when I got up… I took two of these capsules, went back to bed, and three hours later, when I got up (to stay up) it was gone. No wheezing, no congestion. It was actually 100% gone. I didn’t even cough anything up. I don’t know where it went, but it did, and I am grateful.

I don't write a lot of reviews but thought I should for this one. I've been diagnosed with reflux; however, I realized that it has more to do with my lung and bronchial system than it does my gut. I've tried literally hundreds of products to try to reduce the phlegm in my throat (I talk for a living) and nothing really helped much. This stuff does. I take 2 tablets generally a couple times a day (as needed) and it has made a huge difference. I can't say enough good things about it! If you're suffering from Phlegm in your throat...this is the stuff for you! I was not paid or compensated for this review.

I had a cough for longer than two weeks and it wasn’t covid and I wasn’t feeling any fever or other cold or flu symptoms. So I unfortunately spent $40 on this stuff thinking it would work and it didn’t. I should have just gone to the doctor. Definitely does not stop coughs!
