Resistance is futile if you have this in the house and between me and my husband 1/2 a tub has been finished off already. Its very similar to Thornton dairy butter tablet which has always been a firm favourite of mine. The use by date is very good, not that it will around for that long and the tub contains the full 2kg as advertised. Will be buying more shortly to keep stocked up. Extremely happy to recommend.

Scottish tablet was delicious and did not last anywhere near as long as expected! Lovely crumbly texture and sweetness overload! Excellent value for money and the quality is not diminished due to the volume. Already considering another purchase and have absolutely no hesitation in recommending it to anyone.

tastes very nice, would've liked a little more for the price though. Didn't last very long considering how nice it is, although this is my fault as the weight is listed in the title. would rate 5 star if more was given for the cost

I consider this to be the best tablet we've tried. It's tasty with just the right texture and amount of crumbliness. We keep buying it and it never disappoints. The only downside is that one piece is never enough so it doesn't last very long. 😄

been meaning to review this tablet for ages as i am on my third tub now! we have a studio we let and being in scotland we wanted a scottish product i had tried many providers before i found this and its delicious just made the way tablet should be only problem is i eat more than gets to the guests!!

I bought this as part of a birthday gift for a friend who came from Scotland but has lived in the English Midlands for some twenty years. I used to buy her tablet from our local Thorntons shop, but that closed down and they don't seem to stock it online. I've tried various other outlets and varieties of tablet but none of them seemed to be quite right. This, on the other hand, really hit the spot. She said that the texture is perfect - quite hard to bite but melts away in the mouth; even the Thorntons brand was a bit too soft and chewy. The flavour is great, sweet but not sickly. The resealable packaging keeps it nice and fresh, so she has been able to nibble a couple of pieces a day with no loss of flavour. She gave it the greatest accolade she can - it tastes just like the tablet her grandma used to make back in Aberdeen. I shall definitely be back for more!
