I’ve been using the Lysol Automatic In The Bowl Toilet Cleaner and it’s been a simple way to keep the bathroom smelling fresh. I really like the scent and how easy it is to replace when it runs out. It just clips in and does its job without any hassle, which makes maintenance pretty effortless. Has a nice and simple design. Overall it’s an easy product to use and it keeps things cleaner and fresher between deep cleans. Lasts about 1-2 weeks each.

This is a great product. The lemon scent is very fresh and keeps the bathroom smelling clean. One lasts my toilet about 3 or 4 weeks. It is a good price for how well it works. Plus, shipping was very fast. Highly recommend!

This product really does help the bathroom smell great between each use and keep the toilet bowl very clean (I barely had to scrub the toilet which I usually do every other day). I like the blister pack these come in, so the one is still sealed until you’re ready to use it. One thing I did not expect was that it would stain my toilet bowl, not a whole lot and barely noticeable if you’re not paying attention but if you’re renting and need to keep everything in the best condition possible that might be an issue.

PROS +++ - Last way longer than the advertised 4 weeks: I've found that for me they last about 8 weeks a bar; that said, I live with just one other person and we each have our own bathroom so maybe it disintegrates faster in a high-traffic household. - Very effective: I've found that these clean WAY better than any of the other automatic toilet cleaners do. I've mainly experimented with cling gels and found them lacking so I was really pleased/impressed by the effectiveness of these. I do a traditional toilet cleaning (with a brush and liquid toilet bowl cleaner) about once every two weeks but honestly my toilet still looks great a week and a half after manual cleaning, I don't even think a touch up cleaning is really required, it's just something that I like to do along with my regular bathroom cleaning. - Cheap: Hard to beat $4 a pack which, again, to me equals about 16 weeks of use! Even if they were only good for 4 weeks a bar I still think it'd be worth it. NEUTRALS /// - No Scent: I put this as a neutral mainly because I generally don't like cleaning surprise with artificial "lemon surprise" scents, they can really give me a headache (especially in small spaces like a bathroom), that said I know some people prefer scents with their cleaning supplies, and to be honest the lack of scent really does nothing to cover up the stinkiness that can come with a bowel movement. In short whether this is overall a pro or a con depends on what you like. - Shifts around: It does shift around the bowl some even with just a regular flush, that said I've never had one fall off or anything so I don't really see it as an issue despite some of the other reviews. CONS - - - - Not at all subtle: This isn't really a negative to me since, again, for the most part I'm the only one using my bathroom, but I can see why it'd be a negative for a lot of people. There's no disguising it, it's a big, somewhat awkward lump and you'll see it every time you step into the bathroom. Overall I truly do love these bars and will be a repeat buyer for sure. To me the neutrals and negatives are not really a big deal but I listed them anyway because I know that for some people (including other reviewers) one or more of these things can be a problem. For me personally, however, it's easily a 5/5 star product.

TMI WARNING: My building had to shut the water off for a few hours to fix a neighbors toilet. Mean while, my child had to p**p. We disposed of the wiping material into a ziplock bag. But her p**p was still in the toilet. It was about an hour and a half, until I could finally flush it down. That whole time, there was no scent in the bathroom. And the bowl had no residue, thanks to these beauties! The price was amazing, for how well it keeps the bowl clean, and the scent makes the bathroom smell fresh.

Too strong of a smell for a normal sized small bathroom

We had the original one before I found this one and I loved the effectiveness of the original one, but i definitely love the smell of this more! Great value for the money, it lasts a lot longer in my kids’ bathroom that in ours but it lasts a few weeks. Keeps me from having to clean the toilet bowl too often. Very easy to use and install and makes my toilet smell so fresh!

The only scent we buy. Light and crisp, not overpowering like some others that can make you gag. Lasts a long time- we simply lift it out for weekly full cleaning and then hang it back.

Knowing that it's keeping the toilet clean is one less problem off my mind

Some people may have a sensitive nose. Scent is not too overpowering to me. Yes the initial scent when opened is strong but quickly fades. Use in all my washrooms including ensuite. Keeps toilet bowl clean. Leaves a blue streak/line running down the toilet bowel if that bothers you. Doesn’t seem to stain the bowel will clean off. Lasts approximately 1 month with an estimation of 2-3 flushes per day. Would definitely be purchasing again.

It has a pleasant scent. But be very careful when positioning the plastic clips, it breaks easily. I ended up losing one because the plastic broke during application.
