⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Durable, Affordable, and Battle-Tested Over Years of Use
The FLYBIRD Adjustable Bench is a solid choice for anyone looking for a reliable, multi-purpose workout bench without dropping hundreds on premium brands. While the overall build quality is decent and the price point is attractive, what really sets this bench apart is its durability. ✅ Why It Stands Out: Used 6x a week by two people for over four years, and it’s still going strong—no rips, tears, or padding breakdown Incline/decline adjustments are smooth and versatile enough for full-body workouts Foldable design makes it easy to store when space is tight A great option for home gyms that need functionality without the premium price tag ⚠️ Minor Drawbacks: The welds and overall tolerances aren’t as refined as higher-end models, and it doesn’t feel quite as rock-solid under heavy loads That said, it’s proven itself through consistent use, and the structure has held up impressively well If you want a bench that’s affordable, functional, and built to last, this one delivers. It’s not flashy, but it’s dependable—and in a home gym, that’s what really counts.

Durable and long enough for tall people
Well made. Durable for me at 200lbs. Easy to put together. I am 6'1" and my head rests nicely in the center of the head piece. Easy to move up and down.

Good bench, makes acceptable trade-offs depending on your priorities.
This bench is very good depending on your priorities. I needed something that I could stow away for space reasons, and with a long enough back rest for my tall frame (I'm 6' 4"). I also don't lift anything heavier than 20 lbs x 2, and only lift a few minutes a day, so a heavy-duty bench would be overkill for me, I'd rather take a lighter frame for easier portability. So this bench meets my needs, and I'm not aware of any other bench that does so. This bench is a nice little workhorse: it is light enough to move around easily, is surprisingly stable and secure for such a light frame, easily and securely adjusts to different inclines, and its extended back is long enough support my long torso and head in reclining position. That said, there are minor annoyances that prevent me from giving it a full 5 stars: the faux leather arrived with a small rip along the trim of the cushion, the seat cushioning isn't thick enough, the gap between seat and back is annoyingly large so that I'm often sitting on the edge of the seat instead of comfortably in it, the instructions aren't clear so I still am not sure if I installed the foot cushions in the right orientation (I tried both directions and just picked one that seems more useful to me), the foot cushion lock moves a bit when you use it (not that it will break, just a bit rattly which is slightly annoying), the folded storage position doesn't lock, the head rest doesn't have a quick release so takes a little time to remove for reverse facing exercizes, the aforementioned folding seat/backrest gap becomes even scarier for me as a male during reverse facing exercizes, if you know what I'm saying. OK, so with those drawbacks, what is better for my needs? Nothing that I could find. For sure there are better benches out there (at much higher price points) that would address all of my complaints, but they are much much heavier and bulkier, which I'd totally go for if I had a dedicated home gym space, but I don't. So given my constraints and modest needs, this bench is a winner for me. I do my workout, it's stable and adjustable, seems safe and solid, and my workouts are short enough that the inadequate padding doesn't bother me too much... it works for me. And as an added bonus this bench is very reasonably priced compared to others. So I'm grateful to have this bench, and at this price point I'm OK with the trade-offs. If an upgraded version with "premium" finish ever became available I'd buy it, but meanwhile this bench is an essential tool in my home fitness routine.

Best most durable and stable bench for the money.
I bought this for traveling. I have a professional quality bench at home. This is nearly as sturdy. I have no complaints.

Good bench, stands up to the descriptions.
This is a nice compact weight bench, does what a weight bench does, plus the adjusting is easy and feels sturdy. However, it is not fully assembled, you have to put on the feet, locking pin, and the foot pad. The most annoying part was getting the assembling accessories out of the molded plastic 'very' sealed packaging. You get a two allen wrenches, and a wrench tool that is used for tightening along with one of the allen wrenches. It all comes together, nicely made. But you aren't going to pull it out of the box already put together. Instructions are short and easy, mainly drawings, but everything is labeled. It's what was expected from the descriptions, just not completely assembled.

Bench is sufficient for home gym
I am 6'1" and 220; planning on lifting dumb bells in the 20-35 pound range. Bench is sturdy and easily sufficient for this program; padding is adequate. Assembly is not too difficult; instructions/illustrations are adequate. There is a large gap between seat and back that may require padding for some. Head extension piece is necessary for me to fit comfortably on bench. I suspect the claim that bench fits people up to 6'5". Quality is sufficient for home gym, but not pro gym level. I believe this is a decent purchase and will serve my needs well into the future.

Great value
It's a pretty solid bench for the price. It's stable when laying on for bench press, or supporting yourself for a bent over dumbbell row. The padding is thin but relatively firm so those positions are comfortable for me. The inclining and decline are nice though I don't use them much. It's also lightweight and stands on its end, so it's nice if you have limited space and need it tucked aside. Where it could use a little improvement is the padding. It's too thin and inside the edge of the hard backing that you can't do exercises leaning against the side like hip thrusts, unless you don't mind wood digging into your back. Also you need to check the screws on the back as they will loosen over time. Still though, the value is great for the price.

Muy versátil
Es muy cómodo y versátil, al poder plegarse es fácil de guardar, el único pero que encuentro es que es algo pequeño, mido 1.88 y el respaldo en posición inclinado me llega justo al cuello lo que lo hace incómodo

Back Support Not Long Enough
Back support is quite short. If you are over 5'9'' then this model is not suitable for you. Apart from that the quality is okay and the bench is easy to assemble. Also the M80 x4 secure pin that is supplied is not long enough.

Structure
Okay where do i start. Its not worth £119 for a start. Good bench but having decided to buy one i reviewed many makes. This one kept coming up tops. I had one from argos which made me think all benches were of similar quality. So I went for it. Fortunately the other day on Amazon it dropped in price to £101, I also had a voucher for £25 from Xmas from my employer so it only cost me £76 in the end which I would say is a fair price. I sold my Opti bench i bought from argos a year ago to buy the flybird. The quality is a grave difference meaning the opti feels very sturdy in comparison. I wanted a bench that folds up, the Opti didn't do that. If it did i would have kept it. Real solid bench and great cushion comfort. Anyway having said that I'm very happy with the flybird. Nice looking, it is strong easy to use and quite lightweight, less than 10 kilos i think, so easy to move around. The only issue I have is the cushioning. Its good but would prefer it a little bit thicker. I also now understand the issue with the head support people are saying. I'm 5ft 8 and 75 kilos when doing flys my head is beyond the board. I i still manage to support it enough to exercise with the barbell. Any taller i would struggle. It has a nice feel to the makeshift leather, and the metal feels strong and it is so easy to change position. It is low enough to do step ups which is good, the Opti was too high for that. When doing decline sit ups i feel the leather wouldn't last on the seat part as the back of your knee puts a lot of strain on the leather as its not that thick and i think with a lot of sit ups it will eventually tear. I'm bench pressing 60 kilos and it holds that weight fine on flat or incline. To be honest in comparing the Opti bench to the flybird, the Opti feels like a man's bench and the flybird looks and feels more for the ladies or teenagers. It looks small when I look at it and didn't look at all strong. But it is and feels solid. I think I'll enjoy it, more so that your seconds in being able to change position for whatever you doing. And it folds so easy and fits in the corner. I gave it 5 stars as it is a good bench for beginners, and it does look good and feel nice.

overall disapointed
it feels very fragile, adjusting the seat position takes forever as you have to manually align it and it is very small in comparison to the old one I had before, on the plus side it looks the part. I will probably only use it to perform most basic exercise as i believe it will eventually breake otherwise and changing the positions of the seats takes to long during exercises
