Xtra Protection Liners

I love this product and find both the regular and long useful. I use it also for light bladder protection and find that generally the regular version is adequate and I get more liners for the money. Since I use one every day all month long, that's important. As a liner for menstrual cycles, I find that the long version is helpful at night. These liners are SO much more absorbent than any other brand I've tried and they keep me dry, wicking away any moisture from my body. I won't use any other brand, even if they were free.

I had picked up a multi-pack of the newer Always radiant liner at the grocery store when I was in a pinch and was so surprised that they did not actually stick and stay put in my underwear throughout the day. I wondered if it wasn't some new adhesive Always was using that would be experienced across their entire range of items. I was very pleased that these liners actually stay stuck for the duration instead of pulling away from your undie material the second you visit the restroom. I would say that these are of a medium thickness for liners...definitely thicker than the Always Radiant liners than are as thin as copy paper. These are about the thickness of a double-folded napkin. I find that the absorption is great for off-period days and that they are more than sufficient for tampon back-up any day of your period and a good standalone for your lightest day. These are also a great bargain here at Amazon compared to what you can pay for them at some stores.

I use these because I have stress incontinence and although I don't need them every day, I do use them everyday just in case. They are totally better than a lite days panty liner and I recommend them to all my older friends (lol).

I wasn't sure at first if these were worth the money, but now that I've actually got them at home & had a chance to try them out, I have a feeling I won't be buying anything else. they are so soft & just enough extra thickness to make them useful for those days when you're almost off your period, but not quite.

Okay, so this was not a part of my life growing up. I never really used these until one of my friends brought these up. And I was like okay I am gonna try these. This is how I feel: PROS: - It makes your underwear last a lot longer. - It makes underwear easier to clean. (All the yuck was only on the liner, I usually handwash my panties but this way I can just toss them with the other clothes.) - Especially useful when you are not sure if you are gonna have a period but also don't want to risk those fine ass pants. - Also useful on the last day of the period or after that when there is just the yucky gross leftover menstrual blood. ( By this time my thighs get chafed and I really hate having a full-fledged pad between my legs at this point.) -For those days when there is a lot of vaginal discharge and you don't know why. - It helps control smells and sweat. CONS: - I try to be environmentally conscious in my shopping decisions so this does create extra waste that cannot be recycled. - I might try a different one probably cause mine just get soaked up too quickly. I don't know if that because I produce more discharge or if these really are too thin to soak more or if they are meant to be like that and I just need to change them more quickly. - I also want a product that is a little longer, this barely covers my coochie.

I have tried so many liners including Carefree, Equate (Walmart brand), and Kotex. The Always brand is MUUUUUCH more absorbent, and it stays put all day long. You can tell there are a lot more layers with the Always brand. It's great for in between cycles, and it's also been a lifesaver for when I've been caught off guard. I've tried the long ones too, but I prefer the regular size because they suit me better.

Updated review: after a few years of using these longer liners, I have no idea how I lived without them before. I wish I could find the odor protection ones in this length and quantity, at a better price, but these are incredibly well priced. I trust this brand and have been happy with the product. The price is fair, and it's very convenient to have them delivered at home.

The negative review here is not fair, since the product is obviously being used for the wrong purposes... It is not a pad to use when you have a period... it's one for the days in-between.. for a fresh, clean feel. Very absorbent, thin, yet thick enough, where it stays in the same shape, and you don't even feel it's there, through-out the day. I am a very big fan, and could say nothing, bust best things about the product! Tried them all - and this one is the best BY FAR! Good luck!
