KJV Compact Bible, Navy LeatherTouch, Value Edition

Nice compact little Bible I can take anywhere.

The cutest, most lovely to hold and overall greatly satisfying to own KJV compact Bible. It looks so sophisticated and feels high quality. Nice elegant font, red letters for Jesus, no commentary at all so it’s nothing but the pure word of God. Each verse is indented and starts on a new line. There is a paragraph symbol ¶ to distinguish when a new paragraph is beginning. At the back it contains a ‘where to turn’ section, a ‘topical micro concordance’, ‘Bible dictionary’ and some maps. The overall writing is very small but that wasn’t a problem for me because I was expecting it and my eyes can handle it. This is the Bible I’ve been carrying around in my bag day-to-day and even reading at home; I’ll certainly be carrying it around when I travel. Overall super happy with the purchase.

I literally think this is the best size bible, especially for traveling or going to church. It’s very well-made. I would recommend a 1000x over. I just wish it came in pink!

Great quality Compact Bible!

KJV bible.. Sorry for only rating 3* but didn't give thickness dimensions in picture thus finding difficult to read scripture, "it is so small", partly my fault, plus i don't think they should produce any bible that script is so small.

Aus Respekt vor dem religiösen Inhalt verzichte ich an dieser Stelle auf eine inhaltliche Bewertung der King James Version und beziehe mich rein auf die materielle Beschaffenheit dieser kompakten Ausgabe. Das Problem – Verarbeitung: Leider kann hier von einer „Value Edition“ im positiven Sinne nicht die Rede sein. Mein Exemplar kam mit einem beschädigten Einband bei mir an. Da die Versandverpackung absolut unversehrt war, handelt es sich hier eindeutig um einen Produktionsfehler und keinen Transportschaden. Das Leathertouch-Material weist unschöne Macken auf, die bei einer Endkontrolle hätten auffallen müssen. Format & Haptik: Die Größe ist als „Compact Bible“ eigentlich ideal für unterwegs, und das Navy-Blau des Einbands sieht theoretisch ansprechend aus. Das Material fühlt sich grundsätzlich okay an, aber der Defekt trübt das Gesamtbild massiv. Schriftbild: Wie bei Kompaktausgaben üblich, ist die Schrift sehr klein. Das ist für das Format zu erwarten, aber die Papierqualität wirkt insgesamt eher durchschnittlich. Fazit: Die Kompaktheit ist praktisch, aber die mangelhafte Qualitätssicherung bei der Herstellung führt zu Punktabzug. Wer eine tadellose Ausgabe sucht, sollte hier eventuell zu einer hochwertigeren Serie greifen oder auf Glück bei der Produktion hoffen. 3 von 5 Sternen.

It’s small in size, the color is very nice. The sides of the pages shine like gold and it is very good looking. Text size is small but i didn’t find it hard to read. Pages are extremely thin but not necessarily fragile. I loved everything about it and definitely recommend.

This is a good quality Bible as is usually the case from Holman Publishers, but the 6 point font is tiny. Nice gold-edged pages. Good for travelling, but not for prolonged reading.

Beautiful, perfect condition, gold leaf edged pages, just delighted to have it. Excellent price. King James version, old language 'hath' , 'thou', etc. Great companion. I pair it with similar size devotional.
