are the bits sprinkled on indoor plants safe for pets if they mess with those plants? Thank you.

Avoid use in pet/drinking fountains or standing water where your pet may drink from. Be sure any plant tray and watering cans are empty if you know your pet will drink from them. While this is advertised as safe AROUND animals and people, It's not safe for consumption- this is listed on the bag. lastly, do NOT use this with fish, it has toxins that can kill them. I also worry about birds drinking from a birdbath

Are these safe to use in a fountain? I do not want to damage the pump or interior. Do they dissolve completely?

It's best to use the dunks for fountains. They last 30 days. If you need a quick kill of larvae then sprinkle these in the fountain then at the dunks. I love these. I sprinkle them in all my planters not just for mosquitos but they also kill fungus knats so as I plant I put these on top right away before the knats appear. Miracle Gro is the worst for knats and feel it's a bait to get you to buy other Miracle Gro products to kill the knats. It's a racket in other words. Is the package the same as the photo or does it come in a bag?

When I bought these they came in the jug but I believe newer product comes in a foil bag which is actually better as sunlight can cause bt to degrade and not be as effective

The alley on the side of my apartment is uneven, and sometimes water collects there. Can I sprinkle this in the alley, or will it just wash away?

Standing water can be treated but may need to be treated again after a rain, if there is water movement
