Thick, rich and delicious
Manuka honey is different than American honey, it's much thicker and has a little stronger taste. It is delicious and great in smoothies.

This is very good honey! The only reason I gave it one less star is because the shipping time was over 4 weeks, from December 17 - January 19! That is an unreasonable time frame!

Superb Delicious Tasting! Manuka honey is special compared to other honey because it contains high amounts of a natural compound called methylglyoxal. However, if we assume the manuka honey with the food activity of methylglyoxal it may be degraded, and does not will always give the benefits in full So to maximize the health benefits with manuka honey, better to use it away from other foods, just eating it straight from the spoon just like that! UMF (Unique Manuka Factor) and is indicated by a specific value, for each sample of honey, which is the percentage of phenol in solution which has the same bactericidal power. The data collected by the researchers demonstrated its advantages of manuka honey in the topical treatment of wounds of various origin, in order to favor the healing and fight bacterial contamination, as well as a food supplement in cases of gastritis and ulcer caused by Helicobacter pylori and in treatment of oropharyngeal tract infections, such as pharyngitis, laryngitis and tonsillitis. In addition to the antibacterial properties common to other types of honey, it contains the UMF, a set of principles with antibacterial effect, which act effectively against many microorganism strains, many of which are antibiotic-resistant.
