Old Skool CLASSIQ N Console Compatible with NES - Grey/Grey Clone System

I have had this system for almost 2 years now and have only good things to say about it. It has been reliable and works with just about all games. The only one I couldn't get to play was Paperboy, which is one of a couple of games that are known to have issues playing on many replica systems like this one. The graphics and colors, along with sounds all look to me to match what an original NES would produce, which was important to me. Oftentimes (perhaps in particular for systems that have an HDMI out), the colors are off and the sounds don't sound right (a great example is the Super Mario Bros. coin sound), but this system did not have any of those issues. It really looked, sounded, and played like the original NES to me. The included controllers function well and it was nice to get 2 of them in the box. Personally, I preferred just using old NES controllers, which are compatible with this system. If you have a TV with AV inputs and want a way to play your old NES cartridges, this is an affordable and reliable system that I'd highly recommend!

The audio isn’t perfect and you really need to yank your cartridge out when you’re done with it, but this is perfect for the average NES enthusiast. The picture quality is perfect but the audio is lacking. The system is compact, light and cheap seeming but that’s to be expected. It’s worked great for the month I’ve had it. The controllers are okay as well, but we’ve been using original NES controllers for the most part. Absolutely worth the price. I plan on buying a few more just to have them at several TVs. They’re cheap enough where I don’t have to worry about lugging around my NES toploader.

decent quality for the price.

I've tried multiple items, with no success, to get my old Nintendo games to play. This was inexpensive, and plays all my old games flawlessly. The controller cords are a bit short, but it can use old controllers as well. Hooks up by av components. If it doesn't last, or I find a problem, I will edit my review, but so far this has been a great product. Highly recommend if you wanna play old 8-bit Nintendo cartridges.

Easy setup. Everything worked great, except we could never get the two-player function to work no matter what we did. One-player worked great, but we ended up sending it back and getting a system that works equally as well AND allows for two players.

Where you connect the ac adapter broke off board. Took it apart to try to save it. It’s just poorly made. I believe it’s past the point where I can return this and don’t know how to contact seller. Money wasted.

This console is awesome! The video and sound quality are outstanding for the money, and every bit as good as I remember! In fact, given the improved picture quality of my modern TV, this is far better than anything I remember from the 80’s The cartridge I used gave me some trouble, but hitting reset a few times straightened it right out. The console itself seems well made. It is very lightweight. It uses Nintendo style controller ports so I think original controllers would work. However, the ones supplied seem great! Someone else mentioned that more modern multi-game cartridges don’t work on these modern knock-offs. But I’m sticking with classic Nintendo games so it seems this was a great choice!

Its plays games but at a cost. Graphical glitches everywhere and sprites flicker in and out. My games are very clean, thr system is definitely the issue. Yes the games are playable but annoying. Get the USB AVS, it was $500 but it plays NES games on real hardware, not a chip
