Timeless Design, Smooth Operation, and Built to Last
Timeless Design, Smooth Operation, and Built to Last The KOHLER Simplice Pull-Down Kitchen Faucet has been a standout fixture in my kitchen for nearly a decade. From day one, it impressed with its elegant high-arch design and silky-smooth performance. The pull-down spray head glides effortlessly thanks to Kohler’s ProMotion braided hose system—it never snags or feels stiff. The DockNetik magnetic docking keeps the sprayer snugly in place every time, something cheaper faucets often struggle with. What makes this faucet worth its price is how thoughtfully it’s engineered. The three spray settings—stream, sweep, and boost—cover everything from rinsing vegetables to blasting away sticky residue. The sweep spray is particularly handy; it creates a fan-shaped blade of water that actually pushes food particles toward the drain instead of splashing everywhere. Installation was straightforward, even for a single person. The included supply lines and optional deck plate made it flexible enough for a single- or three-hole sink. After years of daily use, there’s been no leaking, no loose handle, and the vibrant stainless finish still looks like new with only a quick wipe-down now and then. If there’s a quirk, it’s that the water pressure feels a touch lower than older 2.2 GPM faucets—but the tradeoff is efficiency without sacrificing cleaning power. Bottom line: A beautifully made, reliable faucet that combines form, function, and longevity. The Simplice looks premium, performs flawlessly, and is still one of the smartest kitchen upgrades I’ve made.

Great kitchen faucit
I have had the Kohler kitchen faucit for about one month. I have have it installed in home build in 1995 in California and replaces a Price Pfister G133-100 which had previously been replaced. So I assume lifetime of these type of kitchen faucets is on the order of about 7-8 years. So I can't speak to the reliability of the Kohler that was installed in my kitchen. I actually wanted a Moen for about 2X the price but I was concerned that the 1.5" Moen diameter vs 1 3/8 for Kohler requirement would not work out for my 19 year old sink, But it would have worked just fine as the plumber asserted. In any case, I am quite happy with the looks and operation of the Kohler faucet. The water flow is a little reduced from the Price Pfister but I am fine with that. Also, the plaster is not excessive as the hight the water emits from the nozzle is higher from the older style kitchen faucets in the mid nineties. The nozzle is indeed plastic as others have pointed out but it is not easy to tell visually. I can't speak to the reliability of the faucet as one month is too short to make an assessment. The nozzle retracts nicely into its original position without being magnetic as some competing solutions seems to suggest. Also, there are two spray settings: the usual center spray which acts like a normal faucet and a broader spray. Once you select the spray mode the faucet will stay on that spray mode until you select the rocker switch to turn it the other. Even if you turn off the faucet the spray mode stays the same. Also, I am not using the stainless baseplate which came with the faucet as I decided to cover up the two holes with hole covers. So the installation is essentially single hole. Also, the faucet has no angular stop which means you can turn the faucet 360 degrees or 720 degrees + more in principle, although you will twist the rubber hose underneath the sink. Not a problem for me.

Great faucet so far
I bought this to replace an American Standard faucet that had extremely low pressure. I was a bit worried about the GPM on this, but it can be difficult to find faucets that put out over 2 gallons per minute. The installation was moderately easy. You can check the instructions online, the only difficult part for me was getting under the sink cabinet and trying to work in the small space, actually hooking up the new faucet was easy. I was really impressed with the performance after the install. I thought that the spray sweep function was going to be marketing BS, but it turned to to actually perform as shown, it is easily my favorite feature on the thing. The faucet really puts out a powerful stream. Even the normal mode has much improved water flow from my previous faucet. The button on the side to increase flow even more is especially helpful. I really like that the head swivels 360 degrees, it makes it really easy to use the nozzle. The magnetic docking is cool as well, it helps keep things looking tidy. Others have questioned the longevity of the faucet, and I can't yet comment on that as I have only had it a few months, but from a pure performance standpoint I am very happy. At this point if I am going to replace something in my house my first look is always to Kohler. I have owned a bunch of their products and they always seem well thought out and executed.

Sweep Spray is Awesome!
We chose this model due to the design and functions it offered as well as the price and the Kohler reputation. We bought this to replace the crappy Delta Allora pull down model we had which cost $350 and lasted only 2 years before the magnet broke. They updated the model and the parts would not fit the old model. This was easy to install and seems to work very well. That faucet retracts quickly and securely into the magnetic holster. The sweep spray feature is very nice, but I wish it also had the regular spray. The pause feature is nice. There is a bit of splashing with this faucet and I don't know if there is an adjustment that allows you do pull the faucet down into the sink and let it hang without retracting so you can wash and rinse without holding it. You just have to train yourself to turn the faucet on low at first. The only thing is that it seems the faucet drips if you turn it off in the "sweep" setting. Once I set it to the regular stream setting the dripping stops. I think the price is a good value for a faucet of this type. I did not want a touchless because that's just one more thing to replace batteries in and I just don't think the extra cost is worth it. So I give this product 5 stars based on appearance, ease of installation, function and cost. Cheers everyone! 6/7/2022 Update: solution to low water flow-clean the screen. It takes a bit of effort for remove the part but it fixed the problem. I had ordered a new nozzle but was very disappointed that Kohler discontinued the pause feature and replaced it with a "burst" feature which is completely useless since it already has good pressure. The pause feature was great for filling containers and pots.

Excellent Replacement - I bought Satin finish and Black
Beautiful and elegant. Smooth controls. Powerful. Sounds and looks great. Nice flow. I like the turbo and the sprayer which is VERY powerful (though it makes a mess with splashback, that's my issue). Great warranty. Nice finish. This is my second one. The satin finish is lovely. I have a Black one in another kitchen and love it, too. It's been performing flawlessly for two years.

Great upgrade to a 14 yo kitchen
Overall a nice looking faucet with a higher neck and more reach then my previous Moen. Sweep function is nice, pressure boost would be great with high city water pressure, as it is my well only puts out 40 psi so it's not a huge difference. The biggest improvement, which has been happening over the years, is the ease of install. It took 45 minutes to remove the old faucet and hoses, 30 max to install. Included hoses with faucet ends removes one leak source per line, and the quick connect on the spray hose is easy to use. Nut holding the base in place requires only a philips screw driver to tighten. So much better than the "good ole' days" This item was on sale, and a great improvement. Lifetime warranty on the valve cartridge. Rock on

solid and functional
I waited several months before writing this review, because we have very "hard" water (lots of mineral sediments) and many fixtures simply don't last long before they stop working well. This one is an exception; no problems at all so far. This faucet is great. The tall curved head is easily tall enough for everything we need, including filling tall pots. The magnet built into the extensible head keeps it in place securely when not in use - this is a weak point for many other faucets with extensible heads. I like the dual-mode faucet. It has a shower-like setting, good for washing lettuce and for general efficient rinsing. The handle control has just the right amount of resistance so that it's both easy to position, and it stays where you put it. Pull it to the right to turn on the faucet, push it back for hotter and pull it toward you for colder. This makes it easy to learn where to position the faucet handle to get the exact temperature you want for various tasks. I have some experience installing this type of fixture, and I had no difficulty following the instructions to install this one. Overall I'd have to say this is the best kitchen faucet I've owned.

Look elsewhere
I don't typically write reviews but I'm unhappy enough with this product to share my frustrations with prospective buyers. I was really psyched to replace my kitchen faucet with a gooseneck one, but his one has some serious usability issues. The handle is very 'touchy' and takes a few moments each time we turn the water on in order to find that 'just right' spot where the water is sufficiently hot, but any slight nudge results in an extreme temperature shift, shooting the water temp to scalding in seconds if accidentally bumped to the left. The placement of the faucet just left of center to accommodate our double sink makes it darn near impossible to wash any larger items (serving platter, cutting board, cookie sheet, etc.) without banging into the handle, which will either knock it towards the hotter water and/or turn it off. Then it takes another minute to get it to that 'just right' spot again. I guess if the faucet were on either corner that wouldn't happen, but then you're losing functionality by not having water easily accessible to both sides of your sink(s). The shower sprayer function is weird too. The pressure is strong, but it splatters tremendously, getting my arms and body wet every time I use it. I never had that problem with our previous faucet. Even putting what I'm washing in the sink and lowering the hose down so the dispensed water is farther away from me doesn't seem to solve the problem. And this frustration is also further worsened by the fact that you have to press the button again to return the water flow back to the regular release, even if you turn the faucet off, when you turn the water back on again it will be in shower mode if that's how it was when you turned it off (thus getting soaked in the process). So, the thing looks pretty, but if replacing it were an option I'd do it in a heartbeat.

DO NOT BUY from the UAE
Got this for my home renovation and sitting in my storage as I could not install it without a specific reducer that cannot be bought online... and cannot be found in the UAE or Europe. I discovered this too late from my contractor and cannot return it 😭

Gorgeous Kohler Faucet
Looks great, works great and great price! Not only does it work well, I can't stop looking at it. I think I'm starting to make my wife jealous with all the attention I give the faucet. This faucet has a pause button on the faucet head which many other faucets don't have. I'm not sure how often we'll actually use this feature, but it's cool. The faucet head also snaps back into place nicely and stays in place. No need for a magnet which the Delta's use. The only con I can think of, and this is trivial, is that the plastic collar that helps guide the faucet head back into place could be a little wider. This would help it to slide back into place more quietly.

Good
This is a very nice faucet but you need to buy connectors if you are buying it for use outside of USA as the pipes are only American fit. The weight for the put back on the pipe was useless and difficult to use so I had to also buy another weight separately to install on it and grease the pipe but it works fine now. The pressure button seams to be broken on the second day so if you care for that too it may not be good to get this faucet.

Great looking faucet and performs well.
This faucet was very easy to install and the box contained all the necessary parts; instructions with pictures were very clear. Faucet functions well with the lever very easy to use. Best feature is the fan spray as it makes cleaning the sink so easy!! Only "issue" (not a performance issue) was that the Kohler name is stamped on one side of the faucet...if you position the faucet such that lever is on the right side, you won't see the Kohler name.
