Wolf Tooth Precision-Machined Seatpost Clamp

Better that the rest! I tried several others without success. They were either a touch too small or too big and wouldn’t fit my bike properly. The Wolf Tooth fit perfect and works great. No slippage with this guy and it looks great to match.

I'd broken my stock seat post clamp by running a large seat bag on my mountain bike during a bikepacking trip. This one is far more sturdy, having almost an i-beam cross section. Very happy with this, and I've upgraded on my gravel bike as well. I'd definitely purchase again!

I decided to switch from a QR seatpost clamp to the Wolf Tooth Precision-Machined Seatpost Clamp 31.8/32mm as I’ve installed a dropper post. I no longer need the QR clamp to move the seat up & down during my rides. Also, hopefully, this will make it a bit harder for someone looking to get a free dropper post. First off, the clamp looks great. Made in USA. The edges are clean, precise & the finish along w/the logo look awesome. I’m not a “weight weenie”, but for those who are or who are just interested, the 31.8/32mm clamp weighed in at 18g. The stock QR clamp that I removed weighed 52g. I was pretty surprised at the weight difference (on the scale not the trail). The clamp works well & was easy to install. The clamp has a lip on the top edge that rest on the top of the tube, slide in your seat post & then tighten the clamp down. That’s it. I’ve ridden every day for a week, double track, single track & downhill, no slipping, rotation or any other issues w/the clamp. Overall I’m very happy w/the Wolf Tooth Seatpost Clamp. If you’re looking for a new clamp, I can recommend this one. Just be sure to measure the outside diameter of your seatpost to get the correct size. Somehow I broke 2 of the original specialized seat clamps that came with my Stumpjumper PRO. One broke while I was halfway done with a 10mile trail. The original specialized ones seem to be some sort of cast metal and may be lighter but cmon they cant break during the ride. I decided to try this Wolf Tooth american made solid aluminum design. It looks great and has a nice choice of colors. After 30 or so miles no issues. It should last as long as the bike now I hope. A bit pricey considering the Specialized one is like $9 so maybe not a great value .

I needed to replace a clamp that broke because the quick release broke. I went with a bolt on one and this one doesn’t disappoint. It is high quality at an affordable price. It is machined well and all the pieces fit together well. It clamps on the 27.2 seat post well. No more needing to over tighten the clamp to get the seat post to hold in the frame.

Great quality and well designed. Solved my slipping seat post problem. Would buy again.

Perfect fit for Trek Marlin 5 Gen 3. Common problem of seat post sliding down while riding fixed. Good replacement for stock clamp. True to size should fit perfectly.

top quality, replaced the quick release seat clamp on my bike so it cant be stolen as easily. Nice anodized purple, it feels very high quality. It was not cheap for sure, but it does feel and look like top quality. I am very happy with it!
