First time user - Works just like it should.
I have a watch or two with plastic/acrylic/etc "crystals" in them that were really scratched up. A simple a cost friendly fix was to get some PolyWatch that I've heard about from various sources. For this review I used an older Seiko automatic that I recently purchased off of eBay for cheap. The glass or "crystal" was really scratched up so I thought it a perfect candidate. After receiving the tube, I sat down with some Q-tips and paper towels on a desk. I set the watch down and squeezed some on and buffed with a Q-tip/cotton swab for 3-5 minutes (re-applying a little paste every minute or so). After that first session It was hard to tell if it had worked, but the watch in question was pretty badly scratched and dinged up so I went another 5-10 mins. After that I could definitely tell a difference - the deep gouges and scratches were much less noticeable and the dial more visible. I went another 5-7 minutes before calling it a night and was surprised at the before/after photo comparison. I'd say in total I buffed this 1 watch crystal for about 20 minutes, re-applying paste often. I'd guess I used about 1/4 of the amount in the tube. I will say, the tube is not 100% full from the start - Holding it up to a light you can see about 60% of it contained product. For the higher cost for such a small tube, consideration should be given to how much is used and on what projects. It IS cheaper and less hassle than replacing the crystal though. PROS: - It works. May take several coats and some elbow grease to really get deep scratches and dings out. - Comes with nice little fabric swab that seemed to work well with the paste. - Cheaper than replacing the crystal. CONS: - Small tube for how much it costs. Expect 2-4 good uses from this 1 tube for deeply scratched crystals. - Tube comes filled with a lot of air - package size can be misleading to how much content is inside. *Photo attached shows "Before" photos on Left side, "After" photos on Right side. Watch has a few spots and dust specks inside crystal so some of that isn't the crystal.

Forget about it.
I had high hopes, but this product is totally bogus. It is a polish, as stated on the front of the tube. The directions say, "Apply PolyWatch to the plastic watch crystal. Polish the scratched areas for 2 to 3 minutes with pressure using a piece of cotton wool. Deep scratches need to be treated more than once." I've got news for you. You could apply, re-apply and re-apply again til doomsday, and it ain't doing a darn thing to remove the scratches, no matter how shallow. Tried it on a watch and on reading glasses. No impact whatsoever.

This amazing product really works!
I had recently purchased a Swatch Sistem 51 watch here on Amazon and really liked the watch, but I had already managed to get some small scratches on the acrylic crystal and that distressed me. The watch is beautiful, but the scratches detracted from that beauty. I decided to Google "how to remove scratches from an acrylic watch crystal" and the search result led me to Polywatch here on Amazon. I looked at the product and found many favorable reviews, so I made up my mind to order some and figure "what the heck, if it works, the scratches will be gone and if not, at least I tried." To my great surprise, this product works so well that with just a tiny bit of it applied to the crystal and a couple minutes of rubbing with a soft cotton cloth and those scratches were gone. There isn't even a trace of a scratch visible now! I could hardly believe how easy it was and that the results were so remarkable. This product clearly works as described. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed.

Works but at a cost to your watch
Let me first say that this product does work, by time and patience are key. I had a a couple of scratches and two mild deep scratches where you could feel the scratch real good when you brush your finger over them. I followed the instructions and did 3 two to three minute sessions working the polywatch on my pebble watch, and noticed no bigger difference than when I used toothpaste. So I then realized maybe I was being gentle and that was the issue. The next day I used more and did another 2 3 minute sessions working in small circular motions and I can't see any if the scratches and the surface is real smooth. Great right? That is until I noticed a light hue in a small circle area exactly where I used the product. Pissed I was until I watched and read some forums and all said a screen protector will make everything I'm seeing almost clear up, so a screen protector for NY pebble I bought. I can say that if you look at my watch that you have no idea it was ever scratched real bad. The screen protector definitely helps give it that like new polish, especially with a black background face in the pebble. So all in all I can say this product works, but the negative and why I give it 3 stars is because they do little to state the side effects if using the product as like I experienced. Plus, they should say and partner with skinomi or someone and sell a kit with a skin and say you must use polywatch with a skin in order to have best results. Hope thus helps someone, but this us a great alternative to buying a new watch.

Works, but it needs instructions
I got this to get out some scratches on some swimming goggles and my Maui Jim sunglasses. I first tried it on the swimming goggles because they were 10x cheaper than the sunglasses to replace. This is basically a polish. I did 1 application and it got out the light scratches. I did more and more applications until the deep scratches were almost unnoticeable. The problem was that there were distortions where the scratches were. I think I focused too much on the scratched part of the lens and not enough all around. So my advice would be to do an all around job not focusing on the scratches. After I got the hang of it I used on my sunglasses. It got the minor scratches out, but of course did nothing for the pits. I noticed there was a noticeable color difference from the edges. I guess Maui Jim had some coating that this took off. So I just went back around the edges and evened it out. It's a decent product that works as described, but requires a lot of patience and effort.

Removed most scratches from a very badly scratched watch
I bought this for a five year old watch that I stopped using 18 months ago because the face was so badly scratched. Recently the band broke on my new watch and while I decide on a replacement band, I'm using the old watch, but the scratching was just too bad to tolerate. I was skeptical about Polywatch, but it actually works. I see a lot of reviewers reporting that it doesn't work. I suspect they didn't read the instructions carefully. They are hard to read, just very small print in five languages on the side of the small tube. Polywatch works by rubbing the watch crystal for two or three minutes with enough pressure to generate heat. The heat melts the surface of the crystal, which mixes with the Polywatch and fills the scratches. It really works, but you have to work at it, and you have to rub at right angles to the scratch. In my case, this meant rubbing the crystal several different times, each time in a different direction. It didn't remove all the scratches, but they are no longer visible unless I'm holding my watch really close to my eyes. I suspect I could have removed the rest of the scratches, but it wasn't worth it to me. The watch looks fine now when viewed from a normal distance. The directions recommend using "cotton wool" for rubbing the Polywatch into the crystal, but it wasn't my local stores and rather than wait to order it over the internet, I used an old tee cotton tee shirt. It worked fine. Some reviewers complain about the small size of the tube, but I used only a very small quantity. The manufacturer says it's good for ten watches, but even my very badly scratched watch required so little Polywatch to remove scratches that it's likely to last for more than ten watches, Usually when writing reviews, I also point out the negatives, but I can't find any with Polywatch other than the tiny print of the directions. A word of caution: I've read conflicting opinions about how Polywatch works on vintage watches. Before using it on any vintage watch, research it to see whether Polywatch is likely to improve it or make it worse. Some alternatives to consider are Brasso or even toothpaste, which some people use for removing scratches from watch crystals. I've never tried either of them.

It does polish but wil take longer for deeper scratches
I actually bought this product for my phone since I have scratched the eisenglass in my regular coming and going. I have to say it did not work as well as I had expected. I have two phones both with one major scratch and other small pitting. The pitting did seam to be reduced but after three applications of the product and vigorously rubbing with a cloth for an hour the larger scratches did not seam to be reduced. I can still see all of the pitting as well but they are slightly reduced. I am giving this product two stars because it does appear to perform slightly but not to my expectations. I suppose the best way to get rid of scratches in eisenglass is not to get any to begin with. If you do get some scratches then happy rubbing to you. I am a litte weary about using sandpaper like a previous commenter wrote but at this point I don't have much to loose. If the sandpaper works then I will update my review.

Worked great on scratches; Don't use on date bubble
I just tried this on my Rolex Datejust and was impressed with its ability to remove scratches from the acrylic face. I put a few drops on the face of the watch and then used a Dremel with a cloth tip, on the lowest speed setting, to buff the scratches out. Worked like a charm! A warning, though -- don't use it if you have a watch that has a magnifying "bubble" over the date, or avoid that area when using this product. It did remove a scratch I had on that area, but the result is that the acrylic is now "distorted" where the scratch used to be. In place of the scratch, now looking through that bubble at the date on my watch is like looking through an old-time leaded glass window (only where the scratch was). I can live with it, but it was easier to just look through the scratch. With that fair warning, I'd definitely recommend this product. Also -- the product you receive from amazon will be the tube of Polywatch only, without packaging or instructions. It's easy enough to use; just put a few drops onto the face of your watch and rub it in with a cotton cloth, with pressure, for 2-3 minutes, then wipe the residue away with a clean cloth. If you want, there are a couple videos on youtube that will show you how to do this.

Brilliant on plastic, NOT working on glass
Used for a first time on gloss finished plastic trim on the interior of the doors and the middle console of my car. I was bit sceptical in the beginning and worried if it might do even further damage, so eventually I will end up paying more money to professional polisher or even to replace the whole parts. Anyway, being a stubborn fan of DIY decided to give it a go in the end, starting on a small and less visible area - it worked absolute wonders! It removed all the scratches and gave the details a nice polished finish. My car interior is as good as new again! Was so exited of the results, so decided to test it on glass table and an old and badly scratched watch - unfortunately did not make any improvement on glass surface, despite applying paste 2-3 times and rubbing it in circles for half an hour. I highly recommend this product for minor to medium ( in size and depth ) scratches on plastic surfaces

Use cotton pad or balls for polishing
Yes, perfect.. well it depends on depth of scratches you need to rub thoroughly to get desired result, Great product
