Sony PlayStation 2 Console - Black (Renewed)

Everything as promised. Works like a champ. Bought the wsrranty since itis used, but hsppy with it. Missed playing my large library of games. My cat knocked the old one off and it quit working. Lol

It works, but it has the dreaded death rattle in it. There’s something that shakes around and rattles inside when I turned it over to plug the cords in the back I noticed something is loose inside. What I’m really complaining about is it says it has a Sony brand controller that comes with it. It was not a Sony brand. It was a poorly made third-party brand control controller.. And it was extremely dusty, I can’t believe it works, and God only knows for how long. I will definitely not buy from this company ever again. *the shipper/seller was base electronics, I added this because there are so many different shipper sellers on Amazon

Console is working, perfect. Controller... unfortunately the 'L1' 'directional up pad button' didn't want to work properly. At first, the 'up' directional button didn't want to work. Then the L1 button didn't want to cooperate as well. The 'L1' button keeps pressing on itself like a ghost hahaha. We had a spare controller but it keeps on hitting the circle button so that became useless as well. It's alright, ill just buy another controller. Another week before I can enjoy the past times haha

Its a working ps2 as described!!

My husband bought this for me as a Christmas present. We decided to use it early after getting some guitar hero guitars and it wasn't working. It was loading slow/not loading at all. Freeze up if we did get it to work but then not work when we would try again. I contacted customer service and they sent me a new one and it works as it should! I'm excited I get to play all my old favorites again!

Anyone reading this already knows they want one if they don't have one. I gave mine away to a nephew, best friend bought me a replacement and the seller lied about the quality, I used to repair consoles so this wasn't an issue at first, when I took it apart it was filled with dead roaches and they had urinated all over the board ruining it. This prompted me to purchase the one I just received which is in beautiful condition and works flawlessly. I even have a backup disc drive if ever needed. I recommend getting an HDMI to PS2 adapter and making sure you have a good OEM controller. The knockoffs always feel cheaply made.

I bought this PS2 from "CaveGamers" just the PS2...I hooked it up and it would not play any black back disc's. I contacted the company, explained the situation, and they offered to refund the money or exchange the game console. I really wanted the console, (I should have marked it) I believe they shipped the 1st one back to me it. I took a picture of the pkg when I sent it and it came back exactly the same..my tape was not even ripped or cut into..all they did was slap a return postage on it. I am requesting a refund and looking for a new company to deal with! Buyer beware of them...so shady!!

I just got this ps2 today. It works but why does it look so weird. And what is that think that in the back of the console. And also one thing they sent in a third-party controller while in the photo is the original controller? No further complaints it works well and I enjoy the console very well. But, I would like to know why it looks the way it does, as I never seen a other ps2 look like that before.

I'll be honest, I was very skeptical about buying a gaming console from Amazon. But I've heard good things about the gaming return policies and quality through Amazon so I went for it. I'm very pleased so far! The console came packaged very well with no damage to the package or the console. The console is clean and works well! The controller is an original controller that also works. Pretty stoked that it all worked out so well!

Salió muy buena la consola, pensé que me llegaría dañada, o que no leyera los discos, pero sirve al 100%, la recomiendo.

Llego todo en orden, funciona al 100 por ciento y en muy buenas condiciones. Sin embargo, el control no es el ilustrado en la publicación, lo cual puede ser engañoso.

Disc drive completely inoperative. Will not read any known good disc's whatsoever. Disc drive making terrible grinding noises

Works great out of the box Put 6 hours on it so far and no issues considering the age
