My wrist is 15cms would you recommend I got the small or medium for the best support and comfort?

the small size is 13-15cm and the medium is 15-17cms. My wrist is 18cm and I bought the medium which fits great so I would think you would be better off with the small one. When I wear mine the it meets together without any overlap so if you had the medium I think it would lap over itself - go for the small one.

In the description it says sold as a pair, but when selecting it only goves option for left or right. Can anyone clarify this?

They are are sold singly. Would be pretty unfortunate to need a pair. I will say though they are excellent quality and very comfortable to wear, even over night in bed.

Why does it say only m or l in the description, with neither left nor right stated? is there no right medium?

Yes, but look at the sellers, the right and left were not advertised together. I remember when I purchased the brace it was a little confusing but it is a really good item.

My wrist measures 17.5cm, so should i get the m or l size? i want a nice tight fit, my current brace allows too much movement.
