Self sealing works!
Have had these tubes on the bike for about 400 miles. They work just like any other inner tube. Fill with air, works fine. One morning my wife and I went for a ride, and about six miles from home, something punctured her rear tire. (Sealant sprayed out the hole just like you see in the youtube tire sealant tests. ) And it went flat. I had a pump with us, and reinflated the tire. We pointed back home and got started. A few hundred yards later the tire was very low already. I inflated the tire again, and this time it sealed up! It has been holding 55psi for about 85 miles now.I'm going to replace tire and tube soon, but if you have a pump with you, clearly these tubes can keep a puncture from becoming an emergency, making it only an inconvenience.I'll be buying self-sealing Bell tubes for all of our tubed bikes from now on.

Good Value! Good Product! I Do Recommend This Bicycle Inner Tube!
Good inner tube for my bicycle. I do wish that the valve stem had some kind of retaining clip or something to keep it in place. This is the first full size bicycle tube I've replaced. So maybe they're all like this. I'm not taking any stars away. Just making mention of this. Also, I can't speak of the puncture seal aspect of these. Hopefully I won't even need to find out.Otherwise, I'd say it's a good product at a decent price. I might just proactively buy a second one of these to replace the other tube. As they were the originals and very old. I can definitely recommend this tube to anyone looking for a good Value.

Buys You Time
No matter how careful, it's inevitable that you will eventually bike over a nail or other sharp object that will puncture your tires and tubes. How well these tubes seal is dependent on the size of the hole which obviously varies depending on what you ran over. The hope is that when you do run over something, the hole left behind is small enough that the sealant can just spray out and plug it without losing much air. Sometimes that can happen. However, my experience and expectations with these self sealing tubes is that they buy you time from the moment of piercing to when you have to repair your tire. That may seem like a ding against the product since you most likely still have to repair the damage, until you realize that a regular tube with no sealant would go flat immediately. A flat would require immediate repair on the spot, or just totally take the bike out of commission. So the value I see in these self sealing tubes and why I'm rating 5 stars is that they still allow you to bike and get to a proper location where you can do a repair. I would still recommend having a hand pump or some other means to put air back in your tubes while on the road. As I said, the sealant buys you time and allows the tires to hold some air once punctured. As a "positive" bonus, when an object pierces the tire and tube, it becomes extremely obvious where the hole is since you will see a bunch of foam spray and leak from the tire. So when you do finally go in and make the repair, it makes inspection of the tube and tire much easier.

Ok
It worked after a flat but eventually went flat again.

Valves will seal closed.
This is the 2nd set I got from them like this it was a cheap price compared to the box store. The only thing I didn’t like was the valves would seal tight and it would make it difficult to add air. Valves leak some no matter what it’s on and the sealant works too good.

they work great
these were pretty easy to deal with, i got a mountain bike with presta valves and drilled them out and replaced them with these tubes with schrader valves, it makes everything easier and its the same valve a car uses to you can use most air pumps without an adapter. if you air down your tires they are filled with goop so just be aware that that is a thing.

WORRY-FREE BIKING
After biking a hundred miles with this inner tube I have had no issues. Since July 2025 I have changed the inner tube of my rear tire five times (my bike routine entailed riding in some areas where there is debris and that has proven somewhat problematic) . It seemed that it was time to try something different. A friend suggested inner tubes that are self-sealing. After reading the description of the product the purchase was made and there have been no regrets thus far.

Even at 45lbs. of air pressure they split on the underside seams ! will not ever use them again.
I rarely write bad reviews unless there is a valid reason. I read the reviews on these tubes but needed them because they are labeled to fit @.25 tires. they do fit but are junk ! they were installed on my wife's bike who rarely rides it. She is light and rides slow too. The back tire tube split along the seam on the inside about 4 inches long. So I checked the rim strip and it was fine. Installed another bell self sealant tube. Inflated to 45# and parked it until the next day. checked it and the back tire was flat again. Pulled it apart and the new Bell tube was split too :(. I double checked everything again but added a slime tube and it is has not been a problem. No way I could recommend or ever use these again. I used to hit 55 on some of my bikes and a defective tube would be a death sentence. I have pictures of the 2 tubes but haven't uploaded them yet. I will say it again that I would not trust these tubes. I have 2 new ones left and will throw them in the trash before I would give them away or use them.
