Great option
Great economical option for offices with a lot of lights. The only problem I had was that two bulbs arrived broken. But the lights work great, good color and correct fitment.

Great bulbs, economical multi-pack
These bulbs always work great. Every single one. I have ordered this item multiple times and have been very satisfied. It is much more economical to purchase in a lot of 30, and the shipping is always fast!

Excellent Lighting at a Reasonable Price
These Alto 850 bulbs have great light output at a color which won't make your eyes bleed. Seriously, they are a very natural light without that annoying blue component. The bulbs come up to full output and whitest light after only a few minutes of operation. Have these in several fixtures in the detached garage and have had passers-by inquire as to what kind of lights I using because they were so bright.. I must mention that I have only used these bulbs in newer high-output fixtures and older ones with their ballasts upgraded so I can't say how well they might work in very inexpensive fixtures. They seem to have a long lifespan even when they are used in an area where the "on" cycle is less than three minutes for example.

Bright, crisp, white light! Phillips needs better QC, however.
The bulbs arrived quickly and well-packaged. MUCH less expensive than local big-box stores, and stellar customer service from 1000bulbs, as well! For working in my garage/shop I will like the bright, crisp white light with no "blue" cast. I compared them to 4100K "cool white" bulbs of the same type, where a piece of cardboard placed vertically between the two sets allowed me to perform a true side-by-side comparison. (Pic attached for what it's worth.) Truth be told, I like the "feel" of the 4100K bulbs better, but the 5000K will be better for my intended purpose. The 4100K's actually looked a bit yellow by comparison, and did not appear to be as bright, although lumen output is actually slightly higher. I suppose this is just like the "HID-look" headlight bulbs with blue coating...they look brighter to the eye, but are actually not. The "perfect" combination for me may actually have been one 5000K and one 4100K in each fixture, but needing only 28 bulbs, I would have doubled my expense. At the current time, I have only the pictured 8-foot, 4-bulb strip fixture in the corner of the 24x24 garage. There are also four incandescent fixtures with 100-watt-equivalent (72-watt actual) halogen bulbs spaced evenly on the garage ceiling. I thought they were pretty bright... until I installed these. After having all the lights on for a bit, then turning off the fluorescents, it feels like a cave lit with tallow candles! And this is with just four bulbs in the corner! I can't wait to see what it looks like with twelve additional two-bulb fixtures! The incandescents do a good job for general lighting and will remain for quick in-and-out trips to grab tools, etc. This would be a 5-star product review, but one of the bulbs was DOA with no evidence of damage, so I tested the rest of the box, and the seller sent two replacements quickly and courteously. I also bought two bulbs from an orange-themed store prior to this purchase. Upon installation one of the terminal sets became detached from the metal end cap. (There was no excess force applied, it just popped loose.) Phillips needs to step up their QC on these bulbs. Product issues aside, a recommended solution for work-area lighting.

Good bulbs, poor packing from the manufacturer.
While the item was as described, the packaging from Philips leaves a lot to be desired. One of the bulbs arrived broken, because of the poor packaging.
