I bought these to replace a pair I lost(different brand). Actually this is my second set of ChannelLock 524's. Their very well made,and work very well. At 4.75in long they fit in a pocket very easily. They're great for smaller hands,but they work just as good for large hands. Everything about these pliers is top quality!

Jaws line up perfectly, quality tiny plier

I edc a knipex cobra and pliers wrench in 125mm, I wanted to try a small traditional slip joint but didn't want to buy the small snap on version, yet, was my thoughts. The lil Champs are perfect as far as fit n finish, alignment of jaws,, smoothness of joint yet minimal play (the best have some as its a slip joint) sharp teeth and typical comfortable channelock handle. I say better then I thought due to last two channellock pliers I have bought where not the best 8 inch cutter and 8 inch bent needle nose, cutters teeth were not aligned and needle nose was ground by a novice or someone who doesn't care. Lil champ is nice, now to see if it will fit my edc needs. I did order a second one and see buying some for family and friends. I do need to test the cutters but do not forsee a issue. Will update if an issue arises.

These are generally well made and work fine. The metal appears to have a clear coating on it, presumably to prohibit rust. The blue handles are fine. The one slight drawback is that the "Channel lock" name and details are nearly impossible to see. You'd think if you had a good quality, USA-made product that you'd want to make that really obvious. That didn't happen with these. Even in the photos you can see the markings on the tool are very difficult to see. The reason that this matters beacuse in 50 years when these end up in a tool box with 70 other old tools, and someone is going through them trying to figure out which to keep and which to pass on, it would be nice to know what the Channel Locks would make themselves known as a mark of quality. However if the name is hard to read now, it's going to be hard to read in 50 years. I hope they do last that long. I won't be here to see it.

Quality you can see and feel from channellocks . I was having trouble finding a decent pair of US made pliers. I've been buying some German made tools and USA made tools. Even German made tools can be of bad quality. USA made is no guarantee it's made correctly. I sent several SK tools back because of poor quality. I've always liked channellocks tools, but sometimes they can be pricey. But, if you are looking for high quality tools made in the USA , you need To look at channellocks. They also make a nice socket set that comes in a real metal box. I've ordered another tool from channellocks and I am looking forward to it coming

I looked at several well-know and respected brands of slip-joint pliers before settling on these Channellock's #526. They are stamped "Made in the U.S.A" on the handle and appear to be made from quality forged steel. The jaws align well went closed in both joint positions. The edges of the gripping ridges in the jaws are sharp and provide a solid grip on round shafts and 6-sided nuts. The vinyl handle grips are comfortable in my hand and the 6" size fit my hand and envisioned needs well. I purchased these pliers to keep in a small toolkit in my car for removing nails and screws when doing an emergency tire repairs, but they would also work well for any home use or shop situation. These pliers are a good value and I love that that they are made in the USA with forged steel and come with a lifetime warranty.

Bought for my son but highly recommend this to anyone for smaller jobs

Realizzato con ottimi materiali ma, pur fregiandosi di un marchio Top, ha un disallineamento verticale delle ganasce di quasi 1mm. Non e' un difetto importante da renderlo inutilizzabile ma delude un po' trovarlo in prodotti di alta gamma.

Qualité satisfaisante, tenue en main agréable et bon produit que j'ai protégé avec un vernis pour éviter la rouille. J'ai également ébavuré les contours de leurs arêtes coupantes donc une étoile perdue pour les finitions, surprenant pour du made in USA.
