2.5in springs and n3 shocks
Good quality lift, rides like factory honestly. Installation was a breeze took maybe 3hrs by myself no lift just jack stands. Rough country says you don’t need a transfer case drop or anything with this lift but you will. I had horrific driveline fibration. Ordered there t-case drop kit and that solved the issue.

Excellent for lifting Jeep LJ
My gosh what an improvement. I previously wasted my money with a 'budget lift' using the pucks over the OEM springs. after installing this on my Jeep LJ in my driveway by myself, with the help of some coil compressors, it's been flawless. no need to lower the transfer case or install new sway bar links or adjust driveshaft or anything else. Ride is SO much better, firmer and secure. and it Looks great too. I did eventually install a rear relocation bracket ($25) to better center the rear axle, but that was more for looks than anything else, but if you have oversized wheels/tires the offset will show more, so I recommend doing it at the same time as the lift kit to save time. A+ to Rough Country. I don't know what all the whining is about. Would buy this again 100%

one of the best budget minded upgrades
Probably one of the best budget minded upgrades I could have done. Noticed a huge difference in on-road and off-road performance. I recommend this set up for anyone looking to upgrade performance without breaking the bank. Is it the absolute best set up for a rock crushing rig, not really, but for an entry level jeep that can tackle intermediate trails and rocks. The springs are tall, and soft and the shocks have great dampening. The springs arrive and still taller than advertised, but should settle down in a few months. I was running stock springs with 2 inch budget boost pucks. These springs sat 2 inches taller than that old set up. Going down the highway at 70, I glide over bumps and in town I barely notice the pot holes. This system took me and a buddy about 5 hours to do, mainly because I am not mechanically inclined. But I wanted to do it, so I did, and I learned. If your experienced, probably about 2 hours and your done. SUPER SIMPLE. My one small complaint is there are some vibrations now since its taller. once the springs settle, I hope those new vibrations go away. but the aren't terrible, and the jeep still tracks straight. I can live with it, and if they don't go away, I have cheap options to resolve the issue that don't involve dropping the transfercase.

Love the lift was perfect for what I was hoping ...
Love the lift was perfect for what I was hoping to achieve. Just the right height, makes the Jeep look very good, not to high, not to low. Super simple to install, took me about 4-5 hours, also it was my first time trying to install any kind of lift before so I took it slow. Rough Country was also super supportive, they contacted me making sure everything was alright and if I had any problems with the lift.

Firm shocks and progressize springs soak up the bumps nicely w/o boucning me everywhere
I had a 4" lift in a 97 Jeep TJ that I purchased. The ride was very bouncy and I had a lot of driveshaft vibration. The fix was either a 2.5" lift at $300 or a SYE at $600. You might be thinking "don't lower your jeep dude". The math doesn't lie. Saving of $300, zero driveshaft vibration, better ride, and the motor now purrs at 70mph. I wasn't sure if I'd like the Rough Country kit as a lot of youtubers crap all over the kit but I am 5 star happy with my results. I do off road with my jeep, but I'm not a rock crawler. In addition, having the spring compressor is a must have and worth the $25 price tag

Minor issue, but great support! Would buy again!
2003 Jeep TJ 4.0, fronts were fairly easy to install, rears were tight with the longer springs but got them in! About 2 weeks later, after less than 100 miles of road driving (no off road) one of the front shocks sprung a leak. The customer service reps at Rough Country were awesome, and I received a pair of replacement shocks the day after I called! 15 minutes later (seriously) I had the bad shock replaced! And now I have a spare shock. I'll update this review if I have any long term issues, but I'm very pleased so far!

Weekend install - Rides Great, Feels Solid
2005 Jeep TJ 4.0 - I'm very experienced with wrenches. So, take your own experience into consideration. I suggest buying a transfer case lowering kit, adjustable sway bar links, front and rear adjustable track bars and coil spring compressors before installing this. The instructions included were detailed enough, and YT videos are helpful. I was able to completely install everything listed above in a weekend with my wife helping articulate the axle for coil spring instalation. I used many air compressed tools for removing stuck bolts and did cut several off. It rides much better now and is exactly what I wanted with 31s. Highly recommend, everything felt solid and well built except the shocks. They work well, but I'm not holding my breath for them to last long, just a feeling. The price is right for what you get.

Nice Lift, Nice Price
Did it on the floor of my garage with basic hand tools. I was thinking about a better quality lift, but for the money I chose this one to start with. Time will tell if I will upgrade it. I am not using my Jeep for any more than the odd trail ride and trip to the beach with the kids, so I am hoping it will work just fine. I highly recommend using a spring compressor when installing the springs. Spray all bolts and nuts with lubricant ahead of time before disassembley. I also found it very helpful watching some videos on YouTube of others installing the kit. Love the change it made. Good luck and have fun.
